A nonprofit shop is a store created to fund a mission rather than generate private profit. Chachki Shop is the retail storefront for UA DNA, our volunteer-led organization. Every purchase you make directly supports Ukrainian artists and funds our humanitarian projects in Ukraine.
-
The funds from our shop go directly to trusted projects across Ukraine where we personally know the organizers and how the money is used. So far, we have been able to provide lifesaving medical supplies, generators for families without power, and frontline humanitarian aid. We also use these funds for our largest annual initiative: building tiny homes for families displaced by the war.
-
Absolutely! While we love sharing these beautiful crafts with you, you can also support us through direct donations to our nonprofit, UA DNA. We highly encourage becoming a monthly donor, as recurring contributions give us the reliable funding needed to plan and execute our larger relief projects.
-
The core of our collection comes directly from over ten talented Ukrainian artists who specialize in jewelry, intricate pottery, fashion, and other handmade crafts. By purchasing from them, we help sustain their livelihoods during the ongoing war.
-
Yes, we do! Over the years, an incredible phenomenon happened: friends from our local Ukrainian community and our American neighbors began creating and donating their own products to our shop. We proudly showcase these items alongside our Ukrainian imports as a beautiful symbol of the unity and shared humanity we stand for.
-
We are always on the lookout for interesting, high-quality works that align with our mission. If you are an artist interested in donating your work for us to sell, please reach out to us!
